All-Time Champions
WILKES-BARRE, Pa. (Wrestling) – The Delaware Valley Aggies claimed their 15th all-time Middle Atlantic Conference Wrestling Championship on Saturday at Wilkes University. The Aggies collected 125.5 points, edging defending champion Messiah by 1.5 points.
The Aggies claimed five of the 10 individual champions, and had three runner-up finishes. In total, Delaware Valley had 10 wrestler make it to the podium to receive a medal for a top-three finish.
Messiah, who earned 124 points had, had the other five individual champions. The Falcons had one runner-up and a total of eight wrestler place in the top-three of a weight class.
Wilkes finished in third with 73 points. Lycoming took fourth with 58.5 points, and King’s finished fifth with 21.5 points.
The individual champions earned a spot on the 2015 All-MAC Wrestling First Team. The individual runner-up finishers earned a spot on the 2015 All-MAC Wrestling Second Team.
