Conference Women’s Soccer Championships Set to Begin Nov. 3

Messiah (MAC Commonwealth) and Misericordia (MAC Freedom) earn top seeds

ANNVILLE, Pa. (Women’s Soccer) –
The 2015 MAC Commonwealth Women’s Soccer Championship and the 2015 MAC Freedom Women’s Soccer Championship fields have been solidified with the conclusion of conference play on Saturday. The Messiah Falcons earned the top seed in the MAC Commonwealth, while the Misericordia Cougars earned the top spot in the MAC Freedom. Both conference championships will begin on Tuesday, Nov. 3.
 
Admission to the games is set for $5 for adults, $4 for seniors, $2 for students and children under six-years-old are free. Long-sleeved championship t-shirts will also be on sale at the gate for $15. Visit the championship central page for live coverage, results and recaps.
 
 
MAC COMMONWEALTH CHAMPIONSHIP
 
Messiah (16-0-2, 8-0-0 MAC Commonwealth) will host the winner of the MAC Commonwealth play-in game between fourth-seeded Lebanon Valley (12-5, 5-3 MAC Commonwealth) and fifth-seeded Albright (8-8-2, 4-4 MAC Commonwealth) on Thursday, Nov. 5 at 6 p.m. The Dutchmen will host the Lions on Tuesday, Nov. 3 at 2 p.m. Lebanon Valley defeated Albright in overtime, 1-0, on the road on Oct. 17. Messiah defeated the Dutchmen, 5-0, and Albright, 4-0, during the regular season.
 
Stevenson (9-10, 6-2 MAC Commonwealth) earned the No. 2 seed in the MAC Commonwealth Championship and will host third-seeded Arcadia (13-5, 6-2 MAC Commonwealth) at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 5. The Mustangs defeated the Knights, 1-0, on the road on Oct. 3.
 
The MAC Commonwealth semifinal-round winners will advance to the championship game on Saturday, Nov. 7. The highest seed remaining will host the title game.
 
2015 MAC Commonwealth Women’s Soccer Championship
Play-In Game – Tuesday, Nov. 3
No. 5 Albright at No. 4 Lebanon Valley, 2 p.m.
 
Semifinal Round – Thursday, Nov. 5
No. 4/No. 5 Winner at No. 1 Messiah, 6 p.m.
No. 3 Arcadia at No. 2 Stevenson, 7 p.m.
 
Championship Game – Saturday, Nov. 7

MAC FREEDOM CHAMPIONSHIP
 
Misericordia (15-3-1, 7-0-0 MAC Freedom) will host fourth-seeded Wilkes (6-10-2, 3-3-1 MAC Freedom) at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 3. The Cougars defeated the Colonels by a score of 1-0 on Oct. 13.
 
DeSales (12-5, 6-1 MAC Freedom) earned the No. 2 seed in the MAC Freedom Championship and will host third-seeded King’s (8-6-2, 3-2-2 MAC Freedom) at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 3. The Bulldogs defeated the Monarchs by a score of 4-0 on the road on Oct. 3.
 
The MAC Freedom semifinal-round winners will advance to the championship game on Saturday, Nov. 7. The highest seed remaining will host the title game.
