A total of 113 student-athletes earned perfect 4.0 GPAs in the fall semester

2015 MAC Fall Academic Honor Roll

ANNVILLE, Pa. (Conference News) –
The Middle Atlantic Conference Executive Director Ken Andrews announced the 2015 MAC Fall Academic Honor Roll on Friday. A total of 1,385 student-athletes who competed in men’s and women’s cross country, field hockey, football, men’s and women’s soccer and volleyball were recognized.
 
A total of 113 student-athletes earned a perfect 4.0 grade-point average (GPA) during the fall semester.
 
The academic honor roll is comprised of student-athletes who compete in a varsity level sport and registered a term/semester GPA of 3.20 (on a 4.00 scale) or higher. Beginning in 2015-16, the MAC is allowing freshman to be eligible for the conference academic honor roll. (Prior to 2015-16, only student-athletes with a sophomore academic status or higher with a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or higher prior to the semester of announcement were recognized.)

Men’s Cross Country (17 institutions): 112 (7 - 4.0s)
Women’s Cross Country (17 institutions): 164 (24 - 4.0s)
Field Hockey (16 institutions): 201 (21 - 4.0s)
Football (10 institutions): 281 (10 - 4.0s)
Men’s Soccer (17 institutions): 213 (8 - 4.0s)
Women’s Soccer (17 institutions): 265 (22 - 4.0s)
Volleyball (17 institutions): 149 (21 - 4.0s)
