ANNVILLE, Pa. (Football) – The Centennial Conference and the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) announced the four participating teams in the 2016 Second Annual Centennial-MAC Bowl Series. The Muhlenberg College Mules and Franklin & Marshall College Diplomats from the Centennial Conference, and the Albright College Lions and the Delaware Valley University Aggies from the MAC will take part in the second year of the Bowl Series.
Muhlenberg and Delaware Valley are making their second-straight appearance in the annual Bowl Series.
The Muhlenberg Mules (9-1) earned the top-seed in the Centennial Conference and will host the MAC’s second-seeded Delaware Valley Aggies (8-2) on Saturday, Nov. 19 at Frank Marino Field at Scotty Wood Stadium in Allentown, Pa.
The Albright Lions (7-3) earned the top-seed in the MAC and will host the Centennial’s second-seeded Franklin & Marshall (7-3) on Saturday, Nov. 19 at Gene L Shirk Stadium in Reading, Pa.
The kickoff times of both game will be decided in a conference call with the participating institutions on Monday (Nov. 14) morning. Game times will be posted at the
Bowl Series central page by Monday afternoon.
The two conferences will support the NCAA Division III Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) partnership with Special Olympics by donating 25 percent of ticket revenue generated during the Bowl Series to the organization. Giving back to local and regional communities not only adds to the comprehensive learning component of Division III, but also provides a venue for passion and service.

ABOUT THE CENTENNIAL-MAC BOWL SERIES
The Centennial Conference and the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) announced on Nov. 5, 2015 their partnership to hold two postseason football games between member institutions. The Centennial-MAC Bowl Series involves the top two teams from each conference that are not selected to the NCAA Division III Championship.
The top team from each conference that is not selected to the NCAA Division III Championship will host the second best team from the opposing conference not moving on to NCAAs in one game of the series. This season, 2016, the bowl games are scheduled for Saturday, November 19.
In the first year (11/21/15), Muhlenberg College of the Centennial Conference and Delaware Valley University of the MAC earned the top seeds and hosting rights. Muhlenberg hosted Stevenson University of the MAC, and Delaware Valley hosted Moravian of the Centennial Conference. The MAC won both games in the inaugural season. Stevenson won 14-9 over the Mules, while Delaware Valley won 20-16 over the Greyhounds.
