Championship Central Page

YORK, Pa. (Swimming) – The 2018 Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Men’s and Women’s Swimming Championships are set for Thursday, Feb. 15 through Sunday, Feb. 18. For a fifth-straight year, the conference championships will be held at Graham Aquatic Center in York, Pa. The Arcadia Knights men’s team and the Messiah Falcons women’s team were selected as the favorites in the MAC Swimming Pre-Championship Coaches’ Polls conducted among the conference swimming coaches.

Admission prices to the 2018 MAC Swimming Championships can be found on the championship central page. Fans can purchase tickets at the gate. The ticket price also includes a heat sheet. There will no longer be printed programs, however the program information can now be accessed via the championship central page. There will be information at the site of competition on how to access the online program from your mobile device.
 
The Arcadia Knights were selected atop the first-ever MAC Men’s Swimming Pre-Championship Coaches’ Poll with six first-place votes for 116 points. Albright was second with 113 points and the other six first-place votes. Widener (103 points), Messiah (86 points) and Misericordia (79 points) rounded out the top-five of the poll. The Messiah Falcons were selected as the favorites in the first-ever MAC Women’s Swimming Pre-Championship Coaches’ poll with eight first-place votes for 117 points. Arcadia earned 107 points and two first-place votes to rank second. Widener came in third with 105 points and one first place votes, and Albright collected the final first-place votes for 85 points. Misericordia rounded out the top-five of the poll with 82 points. (Full poll can be viewed below)

2017 Team Results
The Albright Lions won the 2017 MAC Men’s Swimming title with 581 points. It was the sixth title in the last seven years for the Lions. They currently have 10 men’s team titles to rank third in the conference all-time. The rest of the teams finished in respective order: 2. Widener (553.5), 3. Arcadia (530.5), t4. Messiah (307), t4. Misericordia (307), 6. King’s (287), Hood (277), 8. Lycoming (188), 9. Lebanon Valley (144), 10. FDU-Florham (120), 11. Stevenson (84), 12. Wilkes (66).
 
The Messiah Falcons won the 2017 MAC Women’s Swimming title with 619 points. It was the fourth-straight conference title for the Falcons to rank them third all-time in the conference with four titles. The rest of the teams finished in respective order: 2. Widener (595.5), 3. Arcadia (522), 4. Stevenson (349), 5. Albright (339), 6. Misericordia (256), 7. King’s (217), 8. Hood (164), 9. Lycoming (140), 10. Wilkes (83), 11. Lebanon Valley (74), 12. FDU-Florham (32.5).
