BETHLEHEM, Pa. (Women’s Indoor Track & Field) –
The Misericordia Cougars won their third Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Women’s Indoor Track & Field Title on Saturday. The Cougars collected 150 points to defeated second-place Stevenson (125) by 25 points.

60-Meter Dash
Stevenson’s Kimberly Hammond won gold with a time of 7.96 seconds. Widener’s Danielle Peyton took silver with a time of 7.97 seconds, and the Pride’s Kaylynne Timmons won bronze with a time of 8.00 seconds.
 
60-Meter Hurdles
Widener’s Alaina Johnson won gold in a photo-finish against Messiah’s Kristen Frawley as both crossed the line at 9.17 seconds. Frawley earns silver. Misericordia’s Reilly Wagner took bronze with a time of 9.18 seconds.
 
200-Meter Dash
Stevenson’s Kimberly Hammond won gold with a time of 26.57 seconds. DeSales’ Robyn Somers won silver with a time of 26.64 seconds, and Widener’s Kaylynne Timmons took bronze with a time of 26.68 seconds.
 
400-Meter Dash
DeSales’ Robyn Somers won gold with a time of 59.92 seconds. Misericordia’s Madison Hart took silver with a time of 1:00.14, and Widener’s Rachel Parr won bronze with a time of 1:00.54.
 
800-Meter Run
Messiah’s Leanne Weaver won gold for a second-straight season with a time of 2:20.81. Eastern’s Megan Bernotas won silver with a time of 2:22.42, and Katelyn Bernotas took bronze with a time of 2:24.63.
 
Mile Run
Misericordia’s Clare Schoen won gold with a time of 5:04.02, which was just off the MAC Championship record time of 5:03.49 set by Elizabethtown’s Traci Tempone in 2013. Eastern’s Kierra Zack won silver with a time of 5:15.31, and the Eagles’ Megan Bernotas took bronze with a time of 5:16.05.
 
3,000-Meter Run
DeSales’ Veronica Wheeler won gold for the second-straight year. This year, Wheeler broke the MAC Championship record time of 10:08.89 set by LVC’s Kelsey Patrick (2014) with a time of 10:02.53. Misericordia’s Clare Schoen took silver with a time of 10:07.25, which was also faster than the original championship record time. Eastern’s Kierra Zack took bronze with a time of 10:52.53.
 
4x400-Meter Relay
Widener’s Rachel Parr, Megan Kitchin, Claire Burkert and Aishah Dukes won gold with a time of 4:09.00. Stevenson took silver with a time of 4:10.47, and Misericordia won bronze with a time of 4:10.49.
 
4x800-Meter Relay
Eastern’s Megan Bernotas, Katelyn Bernotas, Clarice Koehler and Kierra Zack won gold with a time of 9:55.54. Messiah took silver with a time of 9:55.90, and Lebanon Valley won bronze with a time of 10:04.33.
 
High Jump
Misericordia’s Reilly Wagner took gold with a height of 1.62 meters. Messiah’s Elizabeth Cole and Taylor Wiederrecht tied for Silver while also posting a 1.62-meter jump. Wagner cleared the height on her first attempt to win gold, while the two Falcons both cleared it on their third attempts.
 
Triple Jump
Stevenson’s Dyonne Hicks won gold with a distance of 11.33 meters. Eastern’s Nicole Weenink took silver with a mark of 11.05 meters, and DeSales’ Emily Rogan captured bronze with a distance of 10.91 meters.
 
Shot Put
King’s Jill Korgeski won gold in the shot put for a third-straight season with a distance of 13.41 meters. Stevenon’s Danika Ani captured silver for a second-straight season with a mark of 13.28 meters, and Alvernia’s Tyra Roberts won bronze with a mark of 12.97 meters.
 
Pentathlon
Messiah’s Taylor Wiederrecht won gold with a new MAC Championship record 3,311 points. The previous record was 3,191 points set in 2014 by Delaware Valley’s Alexis Maylor. Stevenson’s Rachel Panek took silver with 3,014 points, and Alvernia’s Rachael Dzik won bronze with 2,656. Points.
