YORK, Pa. (Swimming) – The second day of the 2019 Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Men’s and Women’s Swimming Championships were completed on Friday at the Graham Aquatic Center.
Through six events, Messiah keeps its lead in the women’s standings with 253 points. Widener is second with 165 points, and Arcadia sits third with 156 points. Stevenson (129 points) and Misericordia (123 points) round out the top-five.
Albright also maintains its lead with 239 points. Arcadia is second with 180 points, and Widener is third with 158 points. King’s (142 points) and Messiah (131 points) round out the top-five.

500-YARD FREESTYLE
Women
Messiah’s Nancie Ziegler won gold with a time of 5:06.27. Arcadia’s Megan Hupp, the two-time defending champion, took silver with a time of 5:09.72, and FDU-Florham’s Molly Miller captured bronze with a time of 5:12.97.
Men
Albright’s Teaq Culver won gold with a time of 4:42.24. The Lions’ Harry Hunsberger finished second to take silver with a time of 4:43.97, and Messiah’s Tyler Wilkinson captured bronze with a time of 4:44.37.
200-YARD INDIVIDUAL MEDLEY (IM)
Women
Stevenson’s Melanie Milam won gold with a time of 2:06.67. Messiah’s Kaylee Hollenbach won silver with a time of 2:09.17, and Widener’s Jill Bujanowski, the defending champion, took bronze with a time of 2:10.42.
Men
Arcadia’s TJ Dalton won gold with a time of 1:54.26. The Knights’ Andrew Givone took silver with a time of 1:57.16, and King’s Bryce Groshardt took bronze with a time of :1:57.61.
50-YARD FREESTYLE
Women
Messiah’s Cassie Cotton won gold with a time of 24.20 seconds, her second gold in the event (2017, 2019). The Falcons’ Emily Decker took silver with a time of 24.43, and Widener’s Kaylin Augustine took bronze with a time of 24.65 seconds.
Men
Widener’s Aaron Green won gold for the second-straight season, this year with an NCAA Division III ‘B’ cut time of 20.37 seconds. Green’s time also tied the MAC Championship record and surpassed the 20.43 NCAA invite time from 2018. The Pride’s Martin Bohdan took silver with a time of 21.13 seconds, and Misericordia's Aidan Bergan took bronze with a time of 21.26 seconds.
200-YARD FREESTYLE RELAY
Women
Messiah’s Cassie Cotton, Emily Decker, Nicea McCabe and Kaylee Hollenbach won gold with a time of 1:37.12. Widener captured silver with a time of 1:38.11, and Arcadia claimed bronze with a time of 1:40.20.
Men
Albright’s Joseph Guiliano, Harry Hunsberger, Christopher Laite and Hunter Page won gold with a time of 1:25.23. Widener took silver just behind the Lions with a time of 1:25.25, and King’s captured bronze with a time of 1:26.05.

Men
Albright’s Bryce Schaffer rebroke his own MAC Championship and overall MAC record time of 1:51.22 with an NCAA “B” Cut time of 1:50.79 after the morning preliminary races.
