BETHLEHEM, Pa. (Women’s Indoor Track & Field)
The Misericordia Cougars won their fourth Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Women’s Indoor Track & Field Title on Saturday. The Cougars collected 143.5 points to defeated second-place Messiah (136.33) by 7.17 points.
 
Misericordia head coach Chris Wadas was named the MAC Coach of the Year. Misericordia’s Clare Schoen was named MAC Track Athlete of the Year. Eastern’s Nicole Weenink was named MAC Field Athlete of the Year, and Messiah’s Esther Seeland was named the MAC Rookie of the Year.

60-Meter Dash
Lebanon Valley’s Alyssa Diffenderfer won gold with a time of 7.98 seconds. King’s Ellen Kuzma took silver with a time of 8.02 seconds, and Widener’s Danielle Peyton won bronze with a time of 8.02 seconds.
 
60-Meter Hurdles
Misericordia’s Reilly Wagner won gold with a time of 9.07 seconds. Messiah’s Abby McMinn took silver with a time of 9.10 seconds, and Stevenson’s Rachel Panek took bronze with a time of 9.32 seconds.
 
200-Meter Dash
Messiah’s Ellissa Slader won gold with a time of 26.30 seconds. Lebanon Valley’s Alyssa Diffenderfer took silver with a time of 26.46 seconds, and Misericordia’s Madison Hart won bronze with a time of 26.61 seconds.
 
400-Meter Dash
Messiah’s Ellissa Slader won gold with a time of 59.09 seconds. Misericordia’s Madison Hart took silver with a time of 59.87 seconds, and Messiah’s Taylor Wiederrecht won bronze with a time of 1:00.09.
 
800-Meter Run
Messiah sweeps the medals with Esther Seeland taking gold with a time of 2:20.48. Leanne Weaver won silver with a time of 2:21.43, and Maddison Landis took bronze with a time of 2:21.81.
 
Mile Run
Messiah’s Esther Seeland won gold with a new MAC Championship record time of 5:01.06. The original record (5:03.49) was set in 2013 by Elizabethtown’s Traci Tempone. Misericordia’s Clare Schoen took silver with a time of 5:01.36, also better than the previous record. Eastern’s Kierra Zack took bronze with a time of 5:05.11.
 
3,000-Meter Run
Misericordia’s Clare Schoen won gold with a time of 10:08.52. DeSales’ Meaghan Driscoll took silver with a time of 10:24.37, and Lebanon Valley’s Kate Mowrey won bronze with a time of10:25.63.
 
4x400-Meter Relay
Messiah’s Ellissa Slader, Rebecca Crosley, Esther Seeland and Taylor Wiederrecht won gold with a time of 4:03.08. Misericordia took silver with a time of 4:04.84, and Widener took bronze with a time of 4:06.93.
 
4x800-Meter Relay
Messiah’s Emma Johnsen, Brieanna Hess, Maddison Landis and Mikayla Lewin won gold with a new MAC Championship record time of 9:38.42. The previous record time of 9:46.32 was set in 2014 by Elizabethtown. Eastern took silver with a time of 9:47.38, and Lebanon Valley won bronze with a time of 10:07.16.
 
High Jump
Messiah’s Taylor Wiederrecht won gold with a new MAC Championship record mark of 1.71 meters. The previous mark of 1.70 meters was held since 2017. Misericordia’s Reilly Wagner took silver with a mark of 1.61 meters, and Widener’s Abigail Sheerer took bronze with a mark of 1.58 meters.
 
Triple Jump
Eastern’s Nicole Weenink won gold with a jump of 11.37 meters. Misericordia’s Tatiana Dorner took silver with a mark of 11.29 meters, and Lebanon Valley’s Jessica Olewine took bronze with a mark of 11.09 meters.
 
Shot Put
King’s Jill Korgeski won gold in the shot put for a fourth-straight season with a distance of 14.13 meters. Stevenson’s Jess Rega took silver with a mark of 13.25 meters, and the Mustangs’ Danika Ani won bronze with a mark of 12.45 meters.
 
Pentathlon
Alvernia’s Susanna Pirollo won gold with 2,933 points. Widener’s Camyrn Castellini took silver with 2,694 points, and Misericordia’s Caitlin Henneforth won bronze with 2,606 points.
