ANNVILLE, Pa. (Academic News) – The Middle Atlantic Conferences (MAC) Executive Director Ken Andrews announced the 2019 Winter Academic All-MAC Teams on Tuesday. A total of 92 student-athletes from nine winter sports, including men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s ice hockey, men’s and women’s swimming, men’s and women’s indoor track & field and wrestling were recognized.
“These recipients represent the true meaning of a student-athlete,” said Andrews. “This is one of the top conference awards we give out each season. It honors our student-athletes who excel both in the classroom and on the playing field.”
The Winter Academic All-MAC teams recognize the top student-athletes both in the classroom and on the field during the 2019 spring semester. The MAC sports information directors nominate and vote on the Academic All-MAC teams, giving 50 percent weight on both academic success and athletic success.
