WILKES-BARRE, PA (July 2, 2025) -- Ahead of the 2025-26 academic year, the King's College athletic department proudly announces the transition of Elena Andreyev to Coordinator of NCAA Compliance and Student Engagement.
"We are thrilled to announce Elena Andreyev's well-deserved promotion to Coordinator of NCAA Compliance and Student Engagement," said Assistant Athletic Director Andy Orlowski. "Elena's dedication, attention to detail, and genuine care for our student-athletes make her an invaluable part of the King's College athletics family. Her passion for fostering a positive environment will continue to elevate our programs and support our mission in athletics."
Andreyev has spent the last year and a half at King's College, first as an intern in the athletics department for the Spring 2024 semester, then as the Assistant to the Athletic Director this past academic year.
In her new role, Andreyev will fulfill many duties within the athletic department, primarily overseeing NCAA Compliance for over 600 student-athletes. Her responsibilities include managing NCAA Compliance paperwork, certifying academic credits for full-time status, tracking transfers, overseeing NIL initiatives, and managing team rosters. She will assist the Executive Director of Athletics in completing the EADA (Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act) report and NCAA Sport Sponsorship and Demographics report. Andreyev will serve as primary resource for coaches on compliance matters, including ensuring adherence to NCAA Division III regulations and the completion of the annual Division III rules test for coaching staff.
Her additional duties will include acting as the direct supervisor for the intramural coordinator and overseeing the development and organization of club sports with a specific focus on expanding opportunities for non-varsity athletes to engage in recreational activities and club sports. Andreyev will collaborate with the Assistant Athletic Director to enhance and expand leadership programming for student-athletes, primarily but not limited to the organization and administration of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
"I'm truly honored to step into this new role and continue serving the King's College community," stated Andreyev. "This opportunity means so much to me, and I'm excited to keep working alongside such an incredible group of coaches, staff, and student-athletes. King's has always felt like home, and I look forward to helping move our department forward, while supporting the mission in every way I can."
A 2022 graduate of Wagner College with a bachelor's degree in business administration and a 2024 graduate of East Stroudsburg with a master's degree in management and leadership, Andreyev has had a strong foothold in the King's Community since her arrival whether on the sideline with the Monarch field hockey program, at SAAC events, or supporting our student-athletes in competition and around campus. Her new title and responsibilities are in effect as of July 1.
