Elizabethtown junior Russell Speiden won two events at the Susquehanna Open this past Saturday. He continued his string of strong efforts in the mile with a season-best 4:14.49 over the weekend. The time was good enough to meet the NCAA Indoor Championships provisional qualifying mark, and was also the third quickest in E-town history. Speiden wasn't done, though, as he was also victorious in the 800m. He beat 41 other runners with a time of 1:57.85, the sixth fastest mark in program history.
