Jones was named the Most Valuable Player of the Freedom Conference tournament as he averaged 27 points, six rebounds and four assists while leading the Aggies to their first-ever conference title and NCAA berth. He notched 22 points in the semifinal win against Wilkes and followed with 32 points, including 26 in the second half, as the Aggies pulled away to a 79-58 win over DeSales in the finals. Jones was 13-for-13 from the foul line in the title game and has now hit 58 straight from the charity stripe.
