Alvernia University senior Tad Gillis was named Most Valuable Player for the Commonwealth Conference Championships. He averaged 11.0 points and 4.0 assists per game in leading the top-seeded Crusaders to their first league title. He played the full 40 minutes in each of Alvernia's two, two-point wins first over #4 Messiah (51-49) then over #2 Lebanon Valley (57-55).
