Howe was masterful in picking up a pair of complete-game wins over conference preseason favorite DeSales on Saturday, allowing just two runs and striking out seven in 14 innings in 7-0 and 6-2 wins. The senior scattered five hits and allowed just two runners to reach third base in a shutout victory to start the day, then came right back to shut the Bulldogs down again in game two, getting 16 of her 21 outs on the ground and allowing no one past second base in the final four frames.
