Manrique Arrea had an outstanding week. He was named Commonwealth Conference Player of the Year for the second straight season, and then led his Blue Jays to their first Commonwealth Conference Championship since 2005, gathering Tournament MVP honors along the way. Against Messiah, the junior from San Jose, Costa Rica downed Andrew Wismer 6-0, 6-1 and teamed with Josh Riehl to defeat the Falcons' No. 1 doubles team 8-1. He'd pair with Riehl again Saturday to pick up an 8-6 win at No. 1 doubles in the championship match, but would be unable to finish his singles match due to E-town clinching the title. Arrea is 13-5 in singles and 13-7 in doubles this year.
