Traci Tempone continued to prove that sophomore slumps don't affect everyone. Tempone raced to an 11th place finish in 22:52 to lead the Elizabethtown College women's cross country team, ranked fourth in the Mideast Region, to an eighth place finish at the Princeton Invitational Saturday morning. Tempone ran her fastest 6k time of the season in 22:52, placing just once position —and three seconds— outside of the top 10 individually. A Collegeville native, Tempone has been E-town's highest finisher in all three races she's competed in this fall. Saturday's event was against an NCAA Division I-heavy field.
