E-town sophomore Ken Wiest won a pair of individual events and was part of a winning relay team as the Blue Jays opened their 2011-12 season with a dual win over Arcadia Saturday afternoon. Wiest turned in a 23.24 to win the 50 free, and came within a half second of his best time from a season ago. He then claimed a victory in the 100 free (52.05) in helping the Jays distance themselves from the Knights. Wiest also swam a leg in the 200 free relay, which E-town won in 1:36.68.
