Jan Ikeda became the first swimmer in LVC history to record an NCAA qualifying standard, swimming a school-record 1:03.70 to make the NCAA "B" cut in the 100-meter butterfly. Ikeda also set a school record in the 200-meter free (2:14.01) and swam a 29.07 fly split to help the 200-meter medley relay to a win. No MAC swimmer has qualified for NCAAs in nearly a decade.
