Pitts was named the Male Track Athlete of the Year as he captured both the 60-meter and 200-meter dash championships at the MACs. He ran the 60 in 6.92 for his sixth, first-place finish in six tries this year. Pitts was then clocked in 22.55 seconds to narrowly win the 200.
