Massa did a standout job defensively marking Lycoming's Steve Romano, reigning MAC MVP on Saturday, as the Monarchs posted a 7-6 overtime win over the Warriors. It marked King's first-ever victory over Lycoming since the Monarchs added varsity lacrosse in 1999. Massa held Romano to just five shots and only two assists. Entering the game Romano had scored 16 goals in his four previous contests. In addition, Massa corraled six ground balls and registered two caused turnovers.
