Elizabethtown College sophomore Lucas Dayhoff broke two school records in throwing events at Saturday's Susquehanna Jim Taylor Invitational. In the shot put, Dayhoff bested 31 other throwers with a throw of 48'2-3/4" (14.70m). The throw broke Mike Kistler's almost 10-year old mark of 47'3 (14.40m). Dayhoff also broke the school record in the hammer, with a top effort of 157'5 (47.98m). That throw was good for second amongst 20 competitors and shattered the school's previous record of 138'1 (42.35m). Dayhoff made it 3-for-3 in new personal records with a throw of 109' (33.23m) in the discus.
