Junior Cameron Aregood launched himself into the E-town record books Saturday when he won the javelin throw at the Widener Invitational with a best mark of 209'7" (63.88m). Aregood is the first Elizabethtown College men's track & field athlete to ever eclipse 200' in the javelin, as he crushed the previous school record of 194'1" (59.17m) by more than 15 feet. Aregood's throw is the best in the MAC this year and fifth best in NCAA Division III. The New Jersey-born student-athlete also competed in the high and long jumps, setting an E-town season-best in the high jump with a top mark of 6'0-3/4" (1.85m)
