In making just his fifth appearance of the season, senior Wes Hollenbach pitched himself into Messiah lore with 7.2 gritty innings against #1-seed Alvernia University in the Commonwealth Baseball Championships' final on Saturday. Hollenbach went 7.2 innings, allowing nine hits and three walks while limiting the Crusaders to just a single earned run. He struck out three batters as Messiah won their second-straight conference title.
