Junior Kristi Noecker of the Elizabethtown College women's tennis team won four playoff matches this past week to help the Blue Jays to their third straight Commonwealth Conference Championship. Noecker's 6-1, 6-2 win over Lebanon Valley's Tam Lobb at No. 4 singles Saturday sealed E-town's 5-3 victory. A 2010 All-Commonwealth Conference Second Team pick, Noecker has been a model of consistency for E-town, winning 14 times or more in both singles and doubles play each of her three seasons with the team. She's totaled 106 career wins between singles and doubles play heading into the NCAA Tournament, and is well within reach of Heather Lander's program record of 131 with a year left in her collegiate career.
