E-town junior Traci Tempone started out her season on a high note two Saturdays ago at Shippensburg, and picked up right where she left off in this past Saturday's Misericordia Cougar Classic. Her 6k time of 23:14.84 was nearly nine full seconds better than second place finisher Marina Orrson of Misericordia. The two runners wound up the same way in last year's Middle Atlantic Conference Championship meet at Messiah. The win was Tempone's second of her collegiate career (2011 MAC Champ. the other) and led E-town to the team victory on the course that will host this year's MAC Championships.
