Kyle Garase had another great weekend at the Swarthmore Invitational, posting two of the MAC's best swims so far this season. He started the weekend by finishing sixth in the 200-yard individual medley by posting a MAC-best time of 2:02.13, while also improving on his MAC best in the 100-yard butterfly, coming within .06 of the school record with a second-place time of 52.69. Garase added a second-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle, posting the MAC's third-best time this season at 49.19.
