Kaitlin Michaels was instrumental in King's going 2-0 in a pair of Freedom Conference games last week as the Lady Monarchs moved to within one win of first-place in league play. For the week she averaged 23.0 points, 7.5 assists, 6.0 rebounds, and 4.5 steals per-game. In a 71-60 win over Eastern, Michaels just missed a triple-double, totaling 26 points, 11 assists, nine rebounds, and four assists. King's also handed 25th ranked FDU-Florham its first Freedom loss of the season (66-45) as Michaels led the way with 20 points, four assists, three rebounds, and five steals.
