Each of Megan Bolton's five goals this week were critically important in helping her squad to a pair of one-goal wins over teams with winning records. The sophomore defender scored a game-tying goal in the 60th minute at Arcadia and then converted a stroke in overtime for the win. Bolton picked up her first career hat trick in Saturday's Freedom-opening win over King's. She opened the scoring with a penalty corner goal in the eighth minute. Her 50th minute strike put the Eagles up 4-2, but her side needed a final goal in the 66th minute to pull away to a 5-4 win. Bolton also recorded a defensive save in the win. Both King's and Arcadia have winning records this year.
