Elayna Simpson recorded 18 saves this past week against conference opponents in two games that went into two overtime periods. Simpson gave the Eagles a chance against Misericordia, holding them scoreless until the 109th minute. (In Misericordia's three conference games prior to playing Eastern, the Cougars had outscored conference opponents 19-0). Simpson also made three saves in overtime against Manhattanville to keep the tie intact.
