Patricia Manning went won both individual events she entered and added a relay team victory as King's women edged Elizabethtown 104-101 on a race that came down to the last event. Manning, a past MAC champion in the 200 individual medley, captured that event with a 2:26.32, then won the 200 breast stroke at 2:39.50. She also swam the anchor leg on King's winning 200 medley relay team which won by nearly seven seconds. The Lady Monarchs finished the season with a 8-6 mark to wrap up the regular-season over the .500 plateau for the second straight year, marking the first time in program history the women's team has put together back-to-back winning seasons.
