Nik Christine provided one of the most exhilarating finishes to a dual meet in the MAC this season. With Lycoming leading Stevens, 18-15, heading into the heavyweight match against Tyler Maher, Christine needed a win to prevent the match going to criteria. Instead, with 30 seconds left in the third period, he found himself behind, 10-5, and with Maher sitting on a riding time point, meaning one more takedown would give Maher a major decision and Stevens a dual meet win. Christine, who has a 6-10 record on the year, executed a fireman's carry, flipping Maher on his back and securing a pin, 15 seconds before the match ended, giving Lycoming a hard-earned 24-15 win.
