Cam Avery did a fantastic job of keeping Lebanon Valley in its two games this past week despite getting no goal support from his offense. The freshman racked up 18 total saves, including 10 on Saturday against a Haverford team that was the Centennial Conference's number one playoff team a year ago. Three days earlier, he went above and beyond the usual 90 minute performance by turning away all comers in a scoreless double overtime draw against Eastern Mennonite. He's made 38 total stops on the year and has earned a save percentage of .844 to this point in the young season with the past week proving to be the most promising stretch of his young career.
