Mariah Smolka (Lebanon Valley / Sr. / Rio Grande, N.J.) repeats as field athlete of the week. Smolka won the shot put in a field of Division I and II competitors at Bucknell on Friday to continue her strong indoor season. The senior hit 43’-10” to win by just a quarter-inch as the only Division III thrower in the top five. On day two of the meet, she threw 49’-8.5” in the weight throw or fourth, the second-best throw in program history.
