Brett Fundell (Lebanon Valley / Jr., INF / Wantage, N.J.) opened LVC's latest campaign going 2-for-3 at the plate with a run scored, two walks, and a game-high four RBIs in the team's wild, come-from-behind 13-12 Opening Day victory over Maritime (N.Y.) on Friday night. The next afternoon, in a game in which the Dutchmen struggled to get going offensively, Fundell did his part by recording one of the team's seven hits in a 5-2 setback to Mass. Maritime. For the weekend, he's batting .429 with an identical slugging percentage and a .556 on-base percentage.
