Alexis Ventarola (Manhattanville / Fr.., 1B / Eastchester, N.Y.) got her collegiate career off to a good start, hitting .556 (5 for 9) with a .667 on-base percentage and a 1.111 slugging percentage over four games. The freshman registered one home run, one triple, four RBIs and three runs scored in just nine at-bats while also handling 28 putouts without an error. She started her career with a homer in her first official at-bat on Saturday against ONU and had at least one hit in every game this weekend.
