Joe Benton (Hood / So. / Mechanicsburg, Pa.) won both of his singles matches and one doubles matches in a 1-1 week for the Blazers. He led Hood to a 9-0 win over conference foe Lycoming. He won his singles match 6-0, 6-1 and then collected an 8-4 doubles match win against the Warriors. Benton collected the Blazers’ only point with a 7-6 (7-3), 6-4 singles win in a loss to McDaniel.
