Oumar Diawara (Albright / Jr. / Philadelphia, Pa.) broke two school records on Saturday at the Widener Invitational. He broke Albright’s 100-meter record with a time of 10.87 seconds for first place, which topped the previous record of 10.90 seconds set in 1994. He then broke his own school record in the 200-meter dash with a time of 21.56 seconds for another first-place finish--his own previous record was 22.11. Diawara now owns the top 200-meter time in the conference and has the third-best 100 meter time in the MAC. He also ran legs on the Lions’ 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams which recorded top-five finishes.
