Brett Fundell (Lebanon Valley / Jr., 1B / Wantage, N.J.) was stellar at the plate this last week, going 10-of-19 from the plate to finish with a .526 batting average. The junior first baseman had four extra-base hits for LVC including two home runs, a two-run shot and a three-run bomb, and a pair of doubles. His home runs were his first and second of the year and came in back-to-back conference outings with Hood on Friday and Saturday. In the field, he made 26 putouts and assisted on five more, committing no errors to keep his team-best .991 fielding percentage intact. He drove in 11 runs to bring his team-leading total to 34, scored six runs on the week, and walked twice, including once intentionally.
