Emily Lavin (Eastern / Jr., F / Port Monmouth, N.J.) repeats as MAC Freedom Player of the Week after recording a triple-double in a 72-56 win over Messiah. Lavin scored 26 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and totaled 11 blocks to help the Eagles move to 4-1 on the season. The junior shot 64.7 percent (11-of-17) from the field in the win. She also had one steal and three assists. Lavin leads the conference in points (110), points per game (22), rebounds (65), rebounds per game (13), blocks (42) and blocks per game (8.4) through the first five games of the season. She leads the nation in blocks.
