Josh Thomson (Messiah / Sr. / Mechanicsburg, Pa.) led Messiah to its second MAC Wrestling title in three years. Thomson also claimed his third MAC individual title since the MAC began sponsoring wrestling again in 2014—his sophomore season. Thomson opened the conference championship with a pin and a technical fall to advance to the 184 lbs. weight class championship. The senior defeated Wilkes’ Kyle Diesel 2-0 to claim the 184 lbs. class title. Thomson now has two 184 lbs. MAC titles and a 174 lbs. MAC title.
