Matt Drake (Widener / Sr., D / Morristown, N.J.) helped Widener to two convincing conference wins over Alvernia (W, 20-1) and Lycoming (W, 13-5) by holding both teams to a combined six goals over two games. Drake was assigned to cover the opposing team’s top scorer in each game. The senior scooped up two ground balls and caused one turnover to keep opponents in check. Three of the six goals surrendered by the Pride were man down.
