Jared Schatz (Messiah / Sr. / Elizabethtown, Pa.) set the No. 4 mark in the 3000 steeplechase in NCAA Division III with a time of 9:09.91 at the Larry Ellis Invitational. The mark is the best in the MAC this season, and was just a second off his PR-and-Messiah-record time set last season. This performance all but guarantees him his second-straight NCAA Qualification in the event.
