MAC Freedom Defensive Player of the Week
Tim Carsting (Manhattanville / Fr., GK / Falun, Sweden) began his collegiate career with back-to-back shutouts against Elms and New York University (NYU). Carsting made seven saves in a 2-0 win over Elms, including five in the first half. The freshman then made four saves in a 2-0 win against NYU. The two shutouts mark the first time since 1989 that the Valiants started a season with consecutive clean sheets.
