MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week
Jane Underman (Messiah / Sr., OH / Finksburg, Md.) repeats as the conference player of the week for her second conference weekly award of the season. Underman finished the week hitting .405 with 92.5 points, 82 kills, 27 digs, seven service aces and six blocks in a 4-1 week for Messiah. In a 3-0 conference-opening win over Lycoming, Underman had a .542 hitting percentage with 13 kills and no errors. Against Wesley, the senior hit .607 with 19 kills and just two errors. Underman has 13-plus kills in all five matches, including 19 kills and 10 digs for a double-double in the lone setback to Salisbury.
