MAC Women’s Runner of the Week
Angelina Biondo (DeSales / So. / Pen Argyl, Pa.) was impressive against nationally ranked competition last week at the DeSales Invitational. The sophomore finished second overall against a field of 230 runners, which had three nationally ranked teams in No. 10 Dickinson, No. 24 Haverford and No. 32 Elizabethtown competing. Biondo crossed the line with an impressive 6K time of 22:16, only trailing a 2015 NCAA Championship qualifier from Muhlenberg. No. 34 DeSales finished third out of 35 teams, only behind Dickinson and Elizabethtown.
