MAC Freedom Defensive Player of the Week
Samantha Rubin (FDU-Florham / So., GK / Marlton, N.J.) earns her second conference weekly award of the season. Rubin led the Devils to a 3-0 week with two shutouts and a .33 goals against average. The sophomore only needed to make one save in a 2-1 win over Drew to begin the week. Rubin then shutout both Delaware Valley and King’s by scores of 1-0 to help FDU-Florham clinched a spot in the MAC Freedom Championship. The Devils can clinch the top spot with a win in their final conference game.
