MAC Men’s Runner of the Week
Ernie Pitone (Widener / Sr. / Springfield, Pa.) earns his fourth conference weekly award of the season. Pitone captured his third-straight MAC Men’s Cross Country individual title on Saturday, placing first-place in a time of 25:31.8. The senior was 38 seconds faster than the second-place finisher. Pitone concluded is collegiate career at the conference championship with his third-straight MAC Runner of the Year award and fourth-straight All-MAC First Team honor. He also led Widener to its fourth-straight team title.
