MAC Freedom Player of the Week
Paige Tedik (King’s / Sr., GK / Plains, Pa.) earns her second conference weekly award of the season. Tedik was named the MAC Freedom Championship Most Valuable Player (MVP) on Saturday after leading King’s to a 1-0 double-overtime conference-championship win over top-seeded FDU-Florham. The senior made six saves while facing 14 shots in the shutout. None better than the save she made on conference player of the year Kim Davis on a penalty stroke in the first overtime period. Tedik also earned a shutout against Manhattanville, 3-0, in the semifinal round not needing to make a save.
