MAC Men’s Swimmer of the Week
Cameron Rogers (Hood / Sr. / Severn, Md.) continues his dominance in the distance freestyle events. Rogers won the 500-yard and 1,000-yard freestyle events in a tri-meet with Lycoming and Misericordia. The senior won the 500-yard freestyle in a time of 5:03.25, eight seconds faster than second-place. He then won the 1,000-yard freestyle in a time of 10:22.97, which was 41 seconds faster than second-place. Rogers, who owns the top MAC times in both events, extended his winning-streak in dual, tri and quad meets to 22-straight in the 500 and 21-straight in the 1,000, dating back to midway through his freshman season.
