MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week
Sara Tarbert (Stevenson / Sr. / F / Delta, Pa.) continues her sweep of conference weekly awards with her third-straight of the season. Tarbert had an impressive week totaling 70 points, 29 rebounds, six steals, five assists, two blocks and shooting 65-percent from the field (31-of-48) in a 1-1 week in conference action. In a 61-55 setback to No. 18 Albright, Tarbert tallied 21 points (10-of-18 shooting) with 13 rebounds and two blocked shots for a double-double. The senior then scored 49 points (21-of-30 shooting) with 16 rebounds, five steals and three assists for another double-double in an 87-78 win over Widener. Her 49 points is the most scored in one game by any NCAA women’s basketball player at any level this season.
